make blinding surge and shell shock have bleeding.
pretty bad descriptions but I think bleeding will help make eles see play since DPS is essential due to barbed signet power creeep.
Blinding Surge description: Your eyes has been surged with lightning causing it to bleed thus making you blind.
Shell Shock description: Sharp shrapnels pierces your armor causing you to bleed and your armor to be cracked.

Giving ele skills bleeding does nothing but add to the power creep problem, doesn't even solve anything really.

Are we ignoring MB Fire eles? Blinding surge isn't meant to be a DPS skill. It's meant to be a support skill and that's exactly what it is now.

all buffs to blinding surge is bad buffs, it feels like it is one of the most disputed skills in the pvp balance since it was released.
It would sorta be an unnecessary buff to a skill whos primary function is not to dps but to shut down mobs of ganking warriors/sins etc and that is doing that extremely well.

They should make B.Surge deep wound targets and deal 100 damage per cast too, and give 10 energy back to the face-roller if blind is LOL removed for an instant refund for a wasted face-roll attempt.

User who used this skill will have their monitor screen FLASH, causing blindness for 10 seconds to the user. xD
Seriously, this wouldn't help ele in any way, blinding surge, as mentioned its a support skill not for any dmg purposes.

Hell with it, let's just add bleeding to everything. It's the most useless condition in the game and the only reason people bring it is to meet the prerequisites to other skills (Gash, Opressive Gaze, Lacerate) or Fragspike.

they are good as they are now, in pve
for pvp i couldn't care less
oh and yes, i have an air magic ele... in pve
blinding surge is good with dmg and blindness, but dmg and blindness AND bleeding? nah, then the purpose of the skill would be gone
shell shock also is good as it is in pve, cuz cracked armor is good for melee (meaning also minions) and with air magic's armor penetration, you could use it for more dmg
in general air magic isnt that good in pve, but can be a nice extra
adding bleeding to 2 lightning skills would make no sense, then they better do that on all air magic skills, but then it would be a lil too much of a warrior/assassin caster

By this logic, all swords, axes, daggers, scythes, and spears should cause bleeding everytime they hit.
All hammers should cause cracked armor and deep wound on each hit. 10% chance to cause daze since it might hit in the head.

Bleeding could go with some water skills that include sharp or pointy things in their names, such as 'shatter', or 'shards', or spikes, but nothing in air magic fits bleeding.
Even when gameplay should be over balance, there are some limits. In the same way you can't make a water hex apply burning, you can't have an air spell apply bleeding.

well its a problem when necro is the best midline atm. I think ANet loves barbed signet so they wont change it, so might as well power creep everything up to necro range.

well in that case lets just move glyph of immolation to estorage xD so it can match the strength of barbed signet

I am sure Anet has thought of this in their group meetings for all you know the next derv update will have flash enchantments causing bleeding to all their sycthe attacks lawl and in talking about balance limitations, FLASH ENCHANTMENTS seriously?!?! if that is justifiable, bleeding on everything should FFS

If anything, it deserves a nerf for being overused and over-successful. It's pretty much a staple to every HA and GvG team, and even in RA it's abused to the point where players would rather just go caster and risk the interrupts on them. I played B.Surge in RA, and let me tell you a baby can roll its face on my keyboard for me and win my matches because it's just waaay too easy.

No it isn't. I'd suggest you obs more. But yes, BSurge and Shell Shock definitely shouldn't get Bleeding (although in the case of Shell Shock it MIGHT mean it just fuels another 66 heal from RC).

Okay... not really. But still you should get the point. Just because a skill inflicts one condition doesn't necessarily mean it's inferior to one that inflicts two.

Bleeding is insignificant to damage in PvE, which I think is what you are after. Besides, you probably already have bleeding in your team set-up. On top of that it doesn't make any sense for these skills to cause bleeding.
Most of all, this would make these skills too strong for PvP, especially bsurge. Blind will be harder to remove. Splitting these skills in a way that the PvE version causes more bleeding while the PvP one does not makes the bleeding effect even more retarded.
